Supergirl: Did Season 2 Just Introduce Cyborg Superman?

Warning: this article contains spoilers for this week’s new episode of “Supergirl”!

“Welcome to Earth” was a very eventful new episode of Supergirl, with several characters making their debuts and the reveal that J’onn J’onzz isn’t the only Green Martian living on Earth. But perhaps the most intriguing reveal of all is that President Olivia Marsdin (played by Lynda Carter) is some sort of shape-shifting metahuman in disguise. But who is she really? Was she always a shape-shifter, or has the real President Marsdin been kidnapped and replaced?

It may be some time before the series answers those questions. However, we have an interesting theory. We think President Marsdin may be an iconic Superman villain in disguise. She may actually be Cyborg Superman.

World of Final Fantasy review

World of Final Fantasy seems like little more than adorable, fluffy fan service at first.

In a fall filled to the brim with Final Fantasy media — A movie! An anime! A new mainline entry! — World of Final Fantasy is a cutesy, cameo-filled spinoff that tries to be greater than the sum of its troubled parts. It tries to live up to the Final Fantasy name, even as it gets bogged down in annoying throwbacks that the series has long since grown out of.

World of Final Fantasy‘s long-winded,…

Was The Walking Dead Teasing Rick Losing His Hand?

At this point, had it happened, it probably would have been the most tame thing to happen on The Walking Dead’s ultra-violent Season 7 premiere, but could it be that the show was teasing Rick losing his hand?

In the comics, the Governor had the honor of taking Rick’s hand but that never came to pass on the show. With all the talk of Rick’s “right hand” and Negan menacingly holding Rick’s axe for most of the episode, it certainly seemed like Rick was about to become an involuntary southpaw.

The Walking Dead executive producer and director Greg Nicotero briefly addressed this theory during a conference call today, saying that it wasn’t intentional…at first.

“That was not done consciously,” he told IGN...

With The Walking Dead’s Season 7 premiere leaving fans traumatized, and polarized, EP Greg Nicotero, who directed the episode, took some time on a conference call to talk about the levels of extreme violence that have drawn criticism from some fans and critics. Did the premiere go too far by taking up a whole hour with bullying and brutality?

Nintendo Switch won’t be able to play your library of Wii U discs or 3DS cartridges, as Nintendo has confirmed that its upcoming console doesn’t feature physical backwards compatibility.

When asked whether or not Switch can play physical Wii U or 3DS games, a representative from Nintendo responded to IGN with a simple “no.”

With regard to whether or not the console will offer digital backwards compatibility, the rep said that Nintendo has “nothing to announce on this topic” and “will make additional announcements about the Nintendo Switch hardware later, before the launch of the product.”

As far as whether or not screen on the console can be used as a secondary display, akin to how the Wii U GamePad can display a map while the game is running on the television, the rep confirmed that “N...

Warning: Spoilers for the Walking Dead: Season 7 premiere follow…

One of The Walking Dead’s tragic victims of Negan’s barbed-wire bat, Lucille, took some questions today from critics and reporters to talk about leaving the show and, also, sharing his big dastardly death moment with a second surprise character.

Michael Cudlitz, aka Abraham Ford, opened up about his initial thoughts regarding Abraham also dying during what would turn out to be a huge moment for Glenn.

“I actually had some concerns about that going in,” Cudlitz revealed, “because I’m a fan of both the graphic novels and the TV show. So as a fan of the TV show, when we were doing this I was very specific to Scott
